Interview with Maria Caulfield MP

Our young journalists and film makers have just interviewed our MP Maria Caulfield on a range of contemporary issues including equality issues for women. This came after the first ever Chailey School debate on Wonder Women. Female students in Year 7 presented their choice of Wonder Women to represent each faculty. Presentations centered on women that embody the school motto of being the best you can be. After much discussion, the judges, Maria Caulfield MP and Head Teacher, Helen Key, decided the winners were Malala Yousafzai who was shot by terrorists simply for being a girl going to school and Marie Curie who changed medicine forever and has saved the lives of millions of women. Both women have changed the world for the better and had an influence far beyond their geographical area.
