The Class of 2016 returned to Chailey with their families for Presentation Evening on Thursday, 24th November.
A selection of music was performed by some of our students whilst light refreshments were served.
Our guests were warmly welcomed by Mrs Helen Key, Headteacher, who gave an introduction to the evening.

This was followed by a performance of “Fix You” – with dance, song and music provided by Chailey School students.
Imogen Smith and Connor Skelton, Year 10 students, introduced our Guest Speakers and students throughout the evening.
Mr David Whelpton, Chair of Governors, presented the students with their exam certificates.
Georgia Cudby, Head Girl last year, gave a performance of “Empty Words”.
We were delighted to welcome back Mrs Lesley Young, who retired as Headteacher of Chailey last summer. Mrs Young presented the subject certificates and then gave an address.
We were also delighted to welcome Maria Caulfield, MP, who presented the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Awards.
Mr David Whelpton presented the Governors’ Awards to the Senior Prefects, Travis Powers, Georgia Cudby, Sam Segal and Sarah Kemp for their service to Chailey School and the Governors’ Awards for Achievement to Sam Segal and Olivia Mustafa.
The Senior Prefects responded with a Vote of Thanks.
The Class of 2016 were then presented with a video of ‘A Look Back at the Year’.
Maria Caulfield ended the evening with some closing remarks.
Our Presentation Evening, as always, was a happy and celebratory occasion.
