STEM Morning at Chailey
This morning we are hosting a STEM event for 46 local primary school teachers, Deputy Heads and Headteachers.
Members of our Science department and Design and Technology department are demonstrating innovative and creative ways of teaching Science and Technology using a number of practical activities.
These activities combine skill, knowledge, ingenuity and imagination to solve problems.
The learning process is fun and stimulating whilst, at the same time, providing a firm understanding of the scientific principles.
The Science department runs a STEM club for students once a week at lunch time. This is popular and well attended and the students have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of scientific activities. These are regularly featured here on Chailey News.
