Update on student work on Chailey Common

Students have continued to work hard on their project at Chailey Common, clearing Silver Birch on the common to allow grazing animals to nibble the new growth and prevent the scrub from returning.  It is hoped this work will also help to establish heather and other heath land plants to flourish. The students are now real experts with the tools they are working with.

The students are working towards their John Muir Award in Forest Schools.
