Year 8 Football

Ms Maynard writes:

The Year 8 boys football team had an outstanding result against Uckfield this week.

They went up 3-0 with some exceptional passing and support play with clean finishes to leave this as the score at half time.

The second half saw further dominance but a few lapses in concentration enabled Uckfield to find the goal and take it to 3-3.

A final flourish however resulted in a further goal for Chailey to take a 4-3 victory.

All of the boys played exceptionally well but Miss Maynard's player of the match goes to Chris Pepper-Harris for solid defensive play throughout. Well done!
