A Hugely Successful Open Evening at Chailey School

What a fantastic evening we had at Chailey School as we welcomed more than 600 families through our doors for our Open Evening!

It was wonderful to see so many prospective students and their families exploring the school, meeting our staff and students, and getting a real feel for life at Chailey.

Our 150 student volunteers played a huge part in making the evening such a success. They were fantastic ambassadors for the school, welcoming visitors, answering questions and helping our guests find their way around. Their enthusiasm, confidence and pride in the school really shone through.

There was plenty for our visiting children to get involved in, with activities taking place across the school. From making their own keyrings and taking part in exciting science experiments, to preparing food, tackling maths conundrums and getting active through sport, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The evening was a wonderful opportunity for families to discover more about our curriculum, our facilities and, most importantly, our vibrant school community.

A huge thank you to all of our staff and student volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm to make the evening such a memorable experience. Your hard work and commitment were very much appreciated.

We hope all of our visitors enjoyed their evening and left with a real sense of what makes Chailey School such a special place to learn, grow and belong.
