On Tuesday, 6 Year 10 and 11 students participated in the Model United Nations conference at Bede’s Senior School. It was a day of thought-provoking debates on some of the most pressing issues in today’s world, from reducing plastic pollution to dealing with proxy conflicts across the world. Chailey School was representing the delegation of France and demonstrated fantastic debating, with Kip Douglass being awarded with the Commended delegate award and George Walker receiving the Highly Commended delegate award. Overall, as a delegation the students were also Highly Commended and brought home a glass trophy!
